“Your children are more than just your legacy. They’re your works of art.” (R)
Before they’re even born, you imagined their quirks, their character, their personalities. Rachel specializes in capturing that personality in your backyard, at the park or wherever your child feels most comfortable exploring their environment.
You and your child(ren) are her number one priority. She will not run you out or give you just 20 minutes of her time. Sessions may last 1-2 hours. This allows time for children to warm up to the camera being around, play, eat snacks and take breaks. Rachel understands that children need breaks and that moms love clothing options.
Rachel wants children to feel comfortable in their environment and to deliver images of your beautiful child(ren) that show who they are at heart and their unique personality that you know. Not a chessy smile chain studios capture or the look of not wanting to be there.
Each session is tailored to your needs, to work around your schedule and most importantly your child’s schedule especially in working around naps. When Rachel books a session that is her only session for the day. In understanding that families typically work a traditional workday, Rachel has evening and weekend times available for photo sessions at no additional charge.
All sessions are done on-location (your home, park, backyard, lake, industrial street, etc.), which means that Rachel comes to you. On-location sessions allow children to be themselves, explore their environment and most importantly to feel comfortable. Children are free to explore and play.
For the newborns, Rachel is prepared with a portable studio that can be easily set up in your home providing you the ease at having everything you need right on hand. No worries of packing a diaper bag, worrying if you have everything or traveling with a newborn. Rachel brings it all – studio, lights, props, space heater, music and items for cleaning up
Rachel prepares her newborn clients for the session to last between 1-3 hours depending on the infant, allowing time for feedings, clean ups and changes. Again, no stress on you or your new infant.
Rachel Kemble’s natural approach and ease with children allows her to truly capture the small details that make each child distinctly unique. Her belief that play is a child’s job will allow your child to be at ease during the session and will encourage a genuine exploration of his or her world. Rachel’s many years of experience working with children as well as her extensive training in child development contribute to her unique ability to produce images that shine into the heart of each child she photographs.
Rachel also believes in minimal packaging. Packaging your images with gorgeous bows, stickers, tissue paper and the such would be nice but really where does it end up? In your trash. To Be Green, Rachel uses the bare minimums and selects items that you can reuse.

I know your dad is very proud of you …. I enjoy your photography .. you do excellent work
